Name: Takano Masamune. Age: Fifteen-years-old. Rank: Genin. Hidden Village: Konohagakure. Clan: Masamune. Chakra Nature: Not indentified. Family: Not identified. Biography: “That wrecking ball?” One male murmured, struggling to stack brick upon brick as he traded words with another man. “Yeah, he did this.” The other man quickly replied; a scornful look upon face as he rested his back against the newly repaired wall. “That kid destroys everything.” Takano is the only living Masamune within Konohagakure, the clan being fairly outstretched across the territories; and while they are not known for any specific traits, they have a strong heritage of producing talented and disciplined ninja. They follow a code and exercise a strict regime to implore this code upon their youth, parents and elders taking rank of prime educators – however Takano had no elders to educate him. In his early youth, he was taken in by a normal family without a ninja heritage, his life fairly simplistic until he reached the age of eleven, at which point he was “confiscated” and sent to live within the walls of Konohagakure’s ninja academy. For good reason, the circumstances of his movement were kept hidden, much like his past as an infant, and even his parents. He had only been aware that each had died, or gone missing while in action – but he never knew how or exactly when, only that they weren’t with him now. Perhaps any normal child would have grown up to house some amount of angst or hatred; however Takano remained “devoutly” pleasant. He wore a smile and his seemingly impossible enthusiasm had earned him an infamous name, especially when coupled with his passion for success and unintentionally belligerent actions. In this sense, his wants were simple. He only wanted to protect and excel, and while he housed no dreams of becoming the next Hokage, he had wanted to be seen as one of the greatest ninja whom had ever lived – not just on terms of power, but compassion for the people of his village. _ _ _ _ As an infant, the Nine-Tailed-Demon, Kyuubi, was sealed within Takano in order to suppress the demon’s unparalleled power and destruction that swept over the fire country. His parents had been killed by the Kyuubi, leaving him orphaned, and as the most “just” sacrifice to stop the rampaging demon. Those who performed the sealing ritual had believed that the infant Takano would reject the demon’s chakra and subsequently die, taking along Kyuubi. However as both bonded, as if almost naturally, they found a chance to use the demon’s immense chakra to their advantage, allowing Takano to live. As a result, Takano holds within him nearly unlimited potential and room for progression. While he lacks the knowledge of the Kyuubi being sealed within him, figures such as the Hokage have arranged for him to be trained and disciplined meticulously in order to train his overall constitution so that he may one day make use of the demon. Currently, he remains incapable of utilizing Kyuubi’s chakra, or communicating with the beast, but passively draws from that which is sealed within him; minor wounds and fractures gaining accelerated regeneration along with granting him unparalleled amounts of stamina. But, because the Kyuubi’s chakra also affects the vitality of his body, his natural chakra growth is unbalanced, causing his chakra control to be very poor, so more often than not, the most simplistic and common jutsu are seemingly impossible for him to accomplish.
