The first guy of this group looked like the any other ninja, but it appeared that his eyes were a strikingly bright shade of yellow and his canines were slightly larger than average. Other than that, he appeared to be like the average jounin; with exceptional fighting skills and a wide variety of Katon jutsu at his disposal. We did not understand what made him so unique until we had put him up against some of our best anbu; in which he had taken care of them with skills I had never seen before…

Clan Description:
No one knows who the founder of this clan is or where it exactly originates, but It was first seen in Fire Country. The Abilities of the Karyūga clan are neither flashy nor complex, yet they pack quite a punch in the average 1v1 fight. To sum it up and dumb it down, this clan is revolved around a fire element kekkei genki, which explains why they can only learn that element and no other. Many think that may be crippling, but due to their constitution, they are able to consume almost every type of flame; making them immune to fire techniques. The Karyūga can also incorporate the flames into their fighting style by excreting flames from any part of their body and igniting them; greatly increasing the damage of their blows.

Description: The Karyūga can consume the Katon element, with the exception of that which they have created, to replenish their chakra reserves and recover from minor wounds. This technique improves with time however so a Jounin would obviously gain more from this technique than a Genin.


Karyū no Yoku (Fire Dragon’s Wings)

Description: This skill allows its user to manipulate its chakra in order to create a propulsive effect with their flames; giving them the ability to shoot off like a jet. It does not give the user the ability to fly, but it sends them pretty far depending on how much chakra they use. Most clan members prefer to use this technique on their feet for super jumps, but it has been used in other ways as well.


Karyū no Tekken (Fire Dragon’s Iron fists)

Description: As before mentioned, the Karyūga can incorporate the flames into their fighting style by excreting flames from any part of their body and igniting those flames to greatly increase the damage of their blows. This is the Karyūga clan’s primary fighting style, but it although it does a good sum of damage, it also drains their chakra with each strike. Just like Katonsumption, this technique also gets progressively better with time so a jounin would have more chakra to spend on hits.


Karyū no Kōen (Fire Dragon's Brilliant Flame)

Description: This clan’s kekkei genki allows them to direct their chakra to their lungs and manipulate it into fire which can be spewed from their mouth. As well as having an exceptional range, this fire is extremely powerful in heat; being able to sear right through metal.


Ryūshin no Hifu (Dragon God’s Skin)

Description: To make this technique short and simple, you could compare this to the technique [hidden lotus]; both being strikingly similar to one another. Like Karyū no Tekken, this is an ablity that uses the flames excreted from a Karyūga clan to increasing the damage of their blows, however this technique allows the user to unlock their chakra gates all at once and send the chakra flowing out of their body. Once the chakra begins seeping out the skin, it converts into flames and continuously ignites; turning the user into a human tank of flames. Their combat abilities would exceed their limitations and increase to transient levels at this point, but due to their chakra flowing out their bodies at such a fast rate, they would only have a short period of time to use this technique before they completely expended their chakra reserves. If the clan member’s chakra runs out, it’s obvious that they would die, but this technique can be stopped whenever the user wishes. The only problem with stopping the technique is the reparations on the user’s body. Due to exceeding their limits, all their muscles would collapse and the fatigue would knock them out and possibly send them into a coma.


Ryūshin no Kōen (Dragon God’s Brilliant Flame)

Description: The Karyūga clan member directs all of his chakra into his longs and manipulates it into a large stream of fire capable of burning an entire forest; however it does not exactly burn anything. The technique sends out a fire intense enough to heat all the liquid inside the thing it came in contact with which causes it to evaporate and kill the victim; leaving them a desiccated corpse. This is one of the devastating S-Rank moves of the clan which has only been witnessed by another member of the clan who happened to be there to see it. The user died right afterwards.
