Clan History:

The Rockshaper clan was founded several hundred years before the current Naruto-Timeline. The clan is primarily kenjutsu users, but manipulating created jutsu to turn the deadly art of swordplay into something even greater. The Rockshaper clan uses the deadly grace of fighting with a sword and the nature of rock into a deadly combo. The clan is a lesser known Iwagakure clan, but they are deadly as they can come.

The Rockshaper clan has many different policies for the main branch members who posses the kekkei-genkai for the clan. The trials of hardship kill those who are not ready to train for a good portion of their lives to master it. This includes the personal forging of their blade, giving the blade it's soul, imbuing it with various empowering jutsu, and other things as well. The created product is a blade of power - a extension of one's arm and perhaps almost sentient as well.

The power where this blade comes from is the murder of one of the guardians he/she lives with, and having an elder seal the chakra of said guardian in the wielder's blade to maintain a connection with their love one and reminding them of the sacrifice they paid to serve the clan. When one dies in combat, the blade dies with them and is rendered useless and destroyed so any enemy cannot look upon the clans secrets. When one dies shamefully, say is executed they are killed with their own sword as punishment.

The specific kekke-genkai one must posses is the ability to hear the surrounding rock around them, the sound is tuned enough they can tell the density, the formation of the rock, and tell other rocks from different kind of rocks. This is crucial in the jutsu they preform with the aid of a blade.
