Description:

Mitsukai is not the only blade of it's kind, the methods of crafting it unique to the clan and many of the Ganseki-Kata's clan members have similar personalized blades. This one is a direct sword handed down from the Clan Leader, Toshihrio Ganseki-Kata the 1st. All of Toshihiro Ganseki-Kata's children are almost identical to him each time they are born. Whether or not this is intentional or some mutation of Toshihiro's DNA, they are exempt from the rule that their blade must be hand crafted themselves - thus each child has had Mitsukai passed through their hands and onto their son making this blade truely antique and powerful. Though each time the chakra of the father is sealed into the blade after the previous father's chakra has been exhausted. This is one of the most powerful weapons in Ganseki-Kata, and pretty much is. This is what the clans history revolves around is the hand crafted swords of carnage they create.



Looks:
This sword radiates power, and grace. It's cold steel reflecting the soft moon light which normally it is viewed without gore upon it. It is the epitome of the Samurai's weapon's. The material it's crafted from can no longer be found unless you dug deep into the earth. Within the base of the katana is a single clouded topaz gem where the chakra was sealed into and this power's all of the blades unique abilities. It's folded layer technique used to craft is legendary and hard to reproduce.



Capabilities:

Being powered by the Chakra of the father, it's blade is resistant to elemental attacks and can stop them if blocked correctly.

Whatever the father's affinity to nature is the Sword has it, thus making it able to combine with elemental attacks say if it were Earth the user can use the blade with earth empowering, one could unleash deadly rock attacks or reinforce the sword even more.

The blade's edge never dulls or gets worn away, it is consitently sharp capable of cutting through many different things including the largest of boulders.

People once claimed this sword could cleave through mountains. (Just a legend)

It is very hard to destroy, one would have to possess great elemental power to destroy it.

It is capable of showing some form of sentience from the chakra inside of it, speaking to the user in times of need and giving the swordsman advice for life and other problems. Much of the swordsman time should be dedicated to speaking to the sword.

If anyone other person besides the swordsman attempts to wield the blade, it grows heavier each second until one cannot lift it.

Say if a chakra attack of a different nature is used against the blade, the blade is capable of absorbing it and releasing a weaker version of it back at the enemy unless it's a kekkei-genkai, if that's the case it can block or stop it.

The sword is extremely light weight, and the balance of the blade is percise and well calculated.
